Peony
Peony is a macOS menu bar app that switches between your VPNs and keeps only one on, so their routes and DNS never fight. Once a tunnel is up, it checks the hosts you list, so connected means you can reach them. It drives the open-source clients for FortiGate, AnyConnect, GlobalProtect, Pulse, F5, WireGuard and NetBird through a small root helper that takes one JSON request on stdin and only runs clients from Homebrew. Passwords stay in your Keychain. Built in Swift for macOS 14.
